Thank you so much for replacing the 8 cup Brown Betty Teapot for me. It came at 7:00 pm tonight.

I understand that the teapots have blemishs and markings. They are hand-made and each an individual. The one that you sent looks fine on initial inspection. I haven't used it yet. Just washed it up.

Well, how very sweet. (Not the marmalade I ordered, although I am sure it will be too). No, I am talking about the special service I received. I ordered two jars of Tuesday Cottage marmalade, and added a note thanking the "delightful young lady" with whom I spoke for the helpful advice. I had requested 2nd day air service, with shipment by 17 Dec 03 if possible (although I do realize you are extremely busy this time of year). To my surprise, I received the shipment today, on the 18th!

Not only that, it must have been shipped almost immediately, and someone was nice enough to convert my fairly expensive 2nd day air request to a cheaper ground shipment request. Since the order was shipped right out, I received it *before* I would have received the 2nd day air shipment. And along with that, a nice note in the box. Thank you. Things that seem like small things often are not. To many this might seem like a small thing, but it's appreciated. If the person responsible for this nice touch isn't already reading this email, I hope you will pass on my appreciation to her. And good luck with your business.

We have now returned to the UK and will have no need for your shop in the immediate future. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the service you provided us when we were in the USA. We also had the pleasure of meeting you when we visited the shop in April this year and the realization that you were ex-RN made it better.
